Many people have their own opinions on how to get faith to believe the
promises of God. Some think that tests and troubles build faith, but if
that were true, everyone that I know would be a faith giant!
The scripture in Romans 10:17 says:
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Does that mean that if you hear a scripture it will automatically happen? What if you hear it many times? There are preachers that teach that repeated hearing is all that it takes to get faith. Well, you could hear a scripture a million times in a language that you don't understand, and it won't do a bit of good.
Obviously, it doesn't work that way, so what's wrong with the way we've been taught. What does the scripture mean?
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." A literal translation of that verse would be:
Faith comes when you understand, and that understanding comes by a revelation from God.
The word "hearing" in the scripture verse means to hear with an understanding. Have you ever said, or heard anyone (maybe your parents) say, "Do you hear what I'm saying to you?" If you have the physical ability to hear, then that question sounds a bit foolish, especially when your parent wouldn't normally have been talking softly.
What did they mean then? They meant "Do you understand me (and the results of disobedience)?"
Now, that scripture verse makes more sense. You get faith when God reveals His Word (Promises) to your heart. When it sinks in, you have a trust that comes and you have the faith to believe that God will keep His promise. Until you develop that trust, you won't believe the promise.
You will need to cultivate a trusting relationship with God if you ever expect to be able to believe His promises. This can be especially hard for people with trust issues. Understanding that God loves you can be hard for people with love and self-worth issues. Building a relationship with God must be your primary goal; seek His face and heart, not His hand. Jesus said to seek God's Kingdom and His righteousness first, and everything else He has will be given to you!
God wants to have a loving, personal relationship with you! He is not harsh and cruel like some people make Him out to be! Like many others, I grew up hearing, "God's gonna get you for that!" It took me a very long time to learn that Jesus already took all punishment for sin on the cross! But, the old performance programming still tries to surface, and it brings guilt and condemnation.
Sin is no longer an issue. Jesus became sin so that we could become the righteousness of God! The only sin that will cause you to go to eternal punishment is rejecting Jesus and what He did for you! Once you accept Him, the only "sins" that you can commit are by not walking in love because God IS Love! Jesus said to love God, and love your neighbor as yourself. That doesn't mean to hate yourself!
If you love God, you won't want to do anything that would hurt Him or separate you from His presence. If you love others, you won't want to harm or disrespect them. If you love yourself, you will treat yourself the way that God would want. You're His child (if you have accepted your adoption through Christ), not His whipping post! Being Love, He doesn't mistreat and abuse His children! He pours out His super-abundant love on them!
When you start to believe that God isn't out to get you, that He doesn't hate you (even if He doesn't approve of some of your actions), it will be easier to begin to trust in that Love. Once you can trust, you won't be afraid of receiving everything your loving Father desires to give you (and He wants to give you more than you can ask or even think to ask!).
The only thing that stops you from receiving is YOU!
The Enemy Is Not Happy!
On August 5, 2017, I posted this comment on another blog:
I had studied Quantum Theory before becoming a Christian, and afterward God got into detail about how He created all things from light, how sound changes light frequencies into matter, and the 180 degree frequency shift that happened at the fall of man. The realm of God is not connected to this physical realm anymore, otherwise His presence would completely nullify the inverted frequency of the natural realm.
His presence can only be brought through special ways, such as the Ark of the Covenant in the OT, and now through Born-Again, Spirit-Filled believers. We function as power transformers to conduct His power through us, transforming it in a way to be able to work miracles. Our power is from the Holy Spirit.
New agers, wiccans, and even satanists use the natural power of this realm to their own purposes and ends. They may try to claim that some is white magic, but it is all the same: that which is common to man.
Within a few hours after posting it, I came under such a demonic attack that I had lost all hope, and almost committed suicide! The dark side is not happy, and things will be getting much worse for them.
The enemy knows his time is running short!

Leading Angels
Back in the early 90's, I had my first experience in leading angels into spiritual combat.
I was at work, and I knew that there was a lot of demonic activity there. At lunch time, I was in my car reading about angels (I think it was Charles Capps' book, but I don't remember for sure). I got the idea that as a child of God, I could bring angels into the building to stop the demonic works.
I called out to the angels and led them in a charge against the enemy. I felt them follow me, then rush past into the fight. I was aware of a swirling of dark and light over each person there, and the rest of the night, there was a peace there. No profanity, no crude sexual comments or jokes, no anger, just an unusual peace.
The enemy retaliated, and soon after that, I lost my job there. I was so happy to get out of that place! Then, they actually did something that they have never done before, they paid me a few weeks severance, and all my unused vacation and medical leave. The bookkeeper tried to argue with the owner, saying that they couldn't do that, but he told her to shut up and get my money!
My mission there was finished, and it was time to move along.

The Millennial Reign of Christ
There are many Christians waiting for the Rapture and Jesus Triumphant Return when the Millennial Reign will begin.
Well, the wait is over! There is no Rapture, and Jesus' Reign began when the Holy Spirit came on Pentecost! The Old Testament was completely passed away in 70 AD, and the fullness of the New has come!
We're the ones that are supposed to be making the world, "On Earth as it is in Heaven." Stop waiting for Jesus to do everything for you! He has given us the power and authority to do it in His Name. He has given us His Spirit with which He empowered us to do it. Get out and do it already!
Steve Jobs said that we're here to put a dent in the universe. I'm not here to put a dent in it, I'm here to remake it!

Sticking A Penny To The Wall By Faith
Unless you've been hiding under a rock, in a mainstream denomination, or
stuck in the Baptist belt of the South, you may have heard a lot of
talk about the phenomena of sticking coins and other objects to the wall
by faith.
There has been a lot of vicious criticism about it, and even accusations that it is all from the devil! (Some people really need to stop worshiping the devil by giving him all the credit for everything! He has no power to do anything anymore, so just stop honoring him for things he can't do!)
I just recently heard about it, and I was curious. I had never tried it, and wasn't sure about whether it was real or not, but I'm a believer, not a doubter. If other Christians could do it, then there is no reason that I couldn't, right? After all, God is no respecter of persons, and if He does it for one then we all qualify.
So, on April 4, 2017, I stuck a penny to the wall by faith!
A few days before that, I tried to do it and it didn't work. (I later found out that the reason that I failed was that I put my hand under it to catch it if the penny didn't stick. You can't try to have faith and act on doubts. Don't be double minded!)
This time, I dropped a penny out of my pants pocket, and I heard Jesus' voice saying, "Stick it to the wall." I thought of my previous failure, and almost didn't do it. But, I did what He said, and it stuck!
I tried it again a few days later, and it didn't work. I asked Him why, and He told me that I was playing games, and trying to put faith in my faith to stick it to the wall. It worked when I listened to Him, not when I decided to just do it to play games.
Faith is believing what the Lord says, and doing it. It is not about parlor tricks or other foolish displays. If He doesn't tell you to do something, either in person, or in His Word, then you may just be acting on presumption, not by faith.

Loving The World?
One night I was talking with the Lord, and I told Him that I hated this world and all of its problems and junk.
He said that I needed to love the world. I argued with Him about the love of the world being sin, bringing up the scripture in 1 John 2:15 - 17:
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
But, He brought up John 3:16 - 17:
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He said that I needed to love if I am to fulfill my call and destiny. The same would hold true for anyone following God's will for their lives. We can't do it without Him and His power, and everything He does is done by Love.
If you think you know your purpose on Earth, and it doesn't involve Love, then you missed it! If it's from God, it will involve Love.

Did Paul Go To Heaven?
We have been taught for years that the Apostle Paul went to Heaven (or
the Third Heaven), but did he really go himself, or was he talking about
someone else?
2 Corinthians 12:1-5 says,
1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.
To me, it sounds like he is talking about someone else. Look at verse 5,
Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.
He will glory of that man, but not himself? Thar sounds very contradictory to me. Either he was talking about someone else, or he had multiple personality disorder.
I personally believe that he was talking about the Apostle John, when John went to Heaven, and then wrote the Book of Revelation! I know that some futurists want to believe that John was talking about the distant future (our time), but in the light of reality, that fable doesn't make sense (or as they say in the South, "That dog just won't hunt.").
Most of what John was talking about was fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. We are in the "Millennial Reign of Christ" right now, and the resurrection and final judgement is still to come.
Everything else that fearful Christians worry about has passed. It's time to start living like the World Overcomers that we are!

Why Faith?
Why is Faith so important for Christians?
The Bible says in Hebrews 11:6,
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
And in Hebrews 10:38,
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
And in Romans 1:17,
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
These are just a few of the scriptures that talk about living by Faith. There are many, many more from Genesis to Revelation. So, what's the big deal about Faith and Believing?
If you go all the way back to the beginning, with Adam and Eve in the Garden, you'll see that the very first sin, the reason for the fall of mankind, was unbelief! God said that they were made in His image and likeness, but the deceiver got them to doubt what God said, and trust in works of the flesh that went against believing God.
Since the fall was through unbelief, redemption (salvation) is through belief (faith).
All through the Bible, you'll find God looking for people to trust Him and believe what He says. He always showed His favor on those that believed Him. He was trying to show how good He is, and how great His Love is for people. But, even today, the "Faith and Blessing" message is still one of the most hated by satan and the majority of Christians!
Jesus said that God is Good. Satan says that God is punishing people. Who are you going to believe?
In John 10:10, Jesus said:
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
So, if you sing songs quoting Job, singing that the lord gives and takes away, you are calling satan your lord. You are a devil worshiper!

Supernatural Power From Satan?
This is a big point of fear and confusion for many Christians: Can satan give supernatural power to his followers?
The short and simple answer: No! He has no power to give!
There was a time when the devil did have power. He was even able to teleport Jesus to various places, but Jesus stripped him of all power and authority. Lucifer had angelic power at one time, as well as the power that was given to mankind after the fall of man. That is how his people were able to copy some of the miracles that God's people did, but they were not able to do greater things than God's people.
Some people wonder where this power originated, and why it isn't being used today. Well, it is being used, but the power source is diminishing. Many of God's people still try to use it, and all New Agers, Wiccans, Satanists, Buddhists, Hindus, etc., are ONLY able to use it. It is the power of the Universe that so many LOA practitioners talk about. It is NOT God, nor is it His power!
The power/energy of the Universe did originate from God, but it became disconnected when man fell. The light energy shifted 180 degrees and was cut off from the Unlimited Power of God.
The Power of God is His Holy Spirit! For a while after the fall of man, the Holy Spirit was still energizing Earth, and people were living long lives. Demonic angels were also able to manifest because of God's Power that was flowing into the planet. These same angels mated with human women and had monsters for children, such as the Nephilim (giants).
The demonic realm using the Holy Spirit's power for evil grieved Him, and God decided to "unplug" the Holy Spirit from the world. The removal of His power brought a huge cataclysm that caused the Flood, and shortened the lifespan of humans to 120 years or less. It also started the decrease of power that humans (or demons working through them) could use.
God was still able to use select individuals to manifest His power at times when He placed the Holy Spirit on them, but He did not have the authority do use many people at once because they no longer belonged to Him.
Now (after the day of Pentecost), that has all changed. We can be filled with the Spirit of God if our old wineskin is made new. Being Born Again makes you a new wineskin. Then you can be filled with the Holy Spirit. (It doesn't usually happen at the same time, contrary to what some denominations teach. Religious devils will always try to get you to stop short of the fullness that God wants. ) Sadly, there are more empty wineskins than filled ones in the Church today.
The good news is that you can be filled by the Holy Spirit (if you are a Christian) just by asking God for it! He isn't holding back. Religion and the doctrines of devils do that.

Stop The Old Covenant Preaching Already!
To all the preachers using the Old Covenant to illustrate how New
Covenant believers are supposed to live . . . Just stop already! We're
not under the old anymore. Ever since 70 AD, the old has been completely
done away with, so stop acting like it is for us today!
And don't preach the depressed whining of Job and Solomon as though they are relevant for us today.
I agree that some of the OT is useful for our instruction (mainly what NOT to do), but we must rightly divide the Word of Truth to know that Jesus has fulfilled it ALL! There is NO MORE of the OT that needs to be done!
Yes, there was a forty year period that was an overlap during which even Paul screwed up and followed OT Jewish traditions, but those days are over! Our Covenant is better, so stop trying to go back into slavery!
We need to quit the doctrines of devils, and move on into the Law of the Spirit that brings Life and Liberty!

The Faith of Abraham
There is a lot said in the Bible about Abraham's faith, and about it
being credited to him for righteousness, but what did he have faith in?
Simple: God promised to bless him, and Abraham believed that He would.
God has always had a hard time getting people to believe that He will bless them out of His Love, not their works. Even today people fight against the prosperity teachings. They would rather believe that God will bless their hard work, or their tithes and offerings, rather than believe that He wants to do it just out of His giving nature.
Remember the popular saying: "God helps those that help themselves." Well, it's not in the Bible, and besides, why would God have to help you if you can do it by yourself? This is another doctrine of devils.
God never intended for mankind to earn their way. His plan was to spend eternity showing His Love and goodness to His children.
We are told to labor to enter into rest. What does that mean? The labor may be the struggle to get out from under religious traditions and enter into the rest of God providing all your needs, wants, and desires according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.
What did Jesus say in John 10:10? The same thing that God said to Abram!
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
What about Hebrews 11:6,
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Believe in God, and believe in His Love that wants to give you all good things, then you will walk in the Faith of Abraham!

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Believe in God, and believe in His Love that wants to give you all good things, then you will walk in the Faith of Abraham!
Seedtime And Harvest
There is a lot of talk by preachers about God blessing people through
"Seedtime and Harvest." The scripture used in in Genesis 8:22,
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
They point it out as a law of blessing that God instituted after the Flood to Noah and his descendants. But, if you read it all in context, you will see that God was telling Noah how things would work in the broken world! He was telling Noah that there were going to be 4 seasons, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
Before the Flood, there were no seasons. Now, the Earth would only produce at certain times, not all the time. That doesn't sound like a blessing to me. It sounds like something that is extremely limited, producing a harvest one fourth of the time instead of all the time.
What did Noah do next? He planted a vineyard to make wine. Then he went on a massive drunk because the reality of what he did hit him. Noah's obedience destroyed the world, caused seasons, and killed everything except what was on the ark!
If you don't believe me, look at Hebrews 11:7,
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Noah understood what the consequences of his faithful obedience was. When he saw the results, it overwhelmed him.
Now, all of creation is waiting for the manifestation of God's children. Read Romans 8:19-22,
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Our job is to reverse the curse. That's why we've been given the power of life, to be transformed and be transformers.

Rapture: Ready Or Not?
I have noticed that when I have had times that I wasn't ready to receive
a truth because of my religious traditions (doctrines of devils), many
times the Lord will just let it drop until He sees that I am ready to
receive.
One of the doctrines of devils that had me bound for a long time was "The Rapture." I had a problem with this defeatist theology after I read and studied the New Testament. The Lord tried to show me that it was a false doctrine back in the late 80's, but I wasn't really spiritually mature enough to receive what He had to say.
The problem that I kept coming across was that there was no evidence of any "Rapture" or "catching away" that I could see, and everything pointed to past events that happened in 70 AD. Immediately, the devil came at me with the scripture in 2 Thessalonians 2, saying that these things had not happened. What I was blinded to was that the scripture was written prior to 70 AD.
I still couldn't fit the traditional escapism into what the Bible said, so I ended up believing in a "conditional" Rapture, where the Bride must be ready, not just sitting around waiting. In order to be ready, the Bride must have put on the garments of immortality and incorruption prior to being taken away. That would leave behind the ones that weren't ready to preach during the "Tribulation." (And they would lose their balloon, if you remember that old scare movie!)
It's easy to get caught up in escapist theology when everyone you know believes in it. Fortunately, or unfortunately for most Christians, it is a false doctrine! We are the over-comers! We are more than conquerors! We're not waiting for a great escape, we're here to make this world "On Earth as it is in Heaven!" That's good news!

Welcome to the All New Site!
Hello, and Welcome to my New blog!
Okay, it's not really new, since I started it in 2009, but I am starting it all over. The old posts and info were just garbage!
I was trying to follow too many blogging gurus, and internet experts about what to post, etc. and after reading through all the years of posts, I hated it all. It wasn't really me.
From now on, the blog is going to be from me to you. Not the way some so-called expert thinks it should be. The old stuff was just too compromising, and from now on, I'm going to keep it more authentic.
Some won't like it, some will. I don't care. I'm going to be truthful and real, and some people just can't handle it. That's their problem, not mine.
Much of what I post will be controversial, but it will be the truth (or at least truthful as I understand it at the time). At times, my understanding will change, and grow. I don't claim to know everything, but I'm here to spread the truth that I know to help set people free.
